“Typically, I prefer working without preparatory drawings. Starting with a general idea, I choose a specific motif as an inspiring source and then develop the final image as I go along.

By feeling and choosing the colours and composition associated with each motif or subject, determines how well a sensation or expression is formed, and therefore presented in the finished work.

Personally, painting is a “dialogue between the subject and myself“, which becomes the vehicle for my creative process. And capturing the essence of a subject remains to be the ultimate challenge.”
